Electrol Engineerings� Y3K Architectural Lighting Interface Control has created a new level for the seamless integration of House/Stage dimming control. No longer is there need of remote interface panels, unique preprogrammed software chips, or separate dimmer cabinets for houselight channels. All preset programming is performed on the front panel display of the dx rack, and is stored in non-volatile memory along with all other dimmer attributes.

Overview
Electrol�s Y3K control system broadcasts its� digital signal via pins 4 and 5 of the DMX input connector, leaving the entire dimming system available to simultaneous Analogue, DMX, and Architectural control. A push of a button at the architectural panel will initiate the pre-programmed look and fade time . This very powerful control system was designed with the following criteria; simple to use, simple to install, adaptable, affordable, easy to configure, no limits on number of stations or channels being controlled, reliable and robust. For clarity of operation, each control station visually reflects the active preset and master level of all other stations on the system. Up to 100 presets and four zones are accessible in a single rack structure, and with no limit on number of dimmers or control stations there is not an operation too small or too large. All preset programming is performed on the front panel display of the dx rack, and is stored in static RAM memory along with other dimmer attributes such as fade time, soft patch, voltage limiting, non- dim assignment, and dimmer curve.

Specifications

Wiring Layout	Star or daisy chain

Wire Type	Any 5 conductor, Category 5 wire (AWG dependant on length of wire run)

Power Requirements	7-15 VDC or VAC, 250ma per station. Polarity of power input to stations is unimportant. Power supply for specified number of stations included, (two of the five wires used to supply power to stations).

Programming Presets	Programming/Capture level function as in dx dimmers. The programming of looks, channel levels, fade time are accomplished at the dimming rack, set-up and play back may be accomplished at the rack as well as the independent stations.

Zone Assignment	Presets on different zones are on a highest-takes-precedence basis, while presets in same zone are on an either/or basis.

Example	A single D125dx dimmer controlled by four different Y3K control stations assigned to separate zones; each architectural station will provide independent control for four different "rooms". A single D125dx dimmer controlled by four different Y3K control stations assigned to the same zone: each architectural station will provide the same, mirrored control as the others for one "room".
