June 1, 2006, Lex Products acquired Electrol
Engineering, Corp. Bill Fehrmann, the
founder of Electrol Engineering will continue
to run Electrol as a division of Lex Products
from its current Forest Hill, MD location.
"This
is the perfect partnership for us,"
said Bob Luther, CEO of
Lex Products. "Bill
Fehrmann and I are a lot alike; we are driven
by customer feedback on our products, their
durability, esthetics and just plain
usefulness. I could see no better person
or company to help us enhance our portable and
permanently installed product lines and to add
dimming capability to our
repertoire."
Over the years,
Lex Products Corp. has established itself as
the leading manufacturer of power distribution
products to the entertainment industry, with
an impressive history of product innovation
and customer-service awards. Both Lex and
Electrol plan to introduce and redesign
products that will take advantage of such
mutual strengths.

"It's true
that both our companies are built on the same core
foundations; product innovation, engineering
excellence and customer-service being paramount.
I'm really Looking forward to working with a group
of dedicated top-notch people in an organization
that is motivated by innovation and quality"
said Bill Fehrmann.
"We
believe Lex will really enhance the construction
and durability of Electrols' dimmer line,"
said Bruce Allen, President of Lex Products. "Some
of our best customers have told us that by having
Electrol's dimmer technology inside our rubber
boxes, they'll truly have the best of both
worlds,"
added Allen.
"Even
though we're just in the beginning stages of this
journey, we're all chomping at the bit to
co-develop new products together,"
said Bill Froehlich, Manufacturing Manager of Lex
Products and Project Manager of the Lex-Electrol
product development team. "I
can't wait to see everyone's reaction at LDI, when
we finally show off the stuff that's in our skunk
works."
