Originally
designed to activate a blender backstage from the lighting
console, the Margarita Mixer (ordering part number: DND1.8) is a
compact DMX controlled non-dim/relay device that is capable of
being a single channel dimmer, providing a full 1800
watts of switching/dimming power for fans, foggers, fluorescents,
lamps, food
processors, or any other device requiring AC power that needs to
be controlled remotely. Encased
within the same robust aluminum extrusion as its' cousin the LFD,
all programming switches are recessed to withstand the most
unexpected abusive situations; yet readily available for
on-the-fly changes by even the most gargantuan stage hand. With an
incredible voltage acceptance of 80-160VAC (optional 240VAC
operation), the Margarita Mixer can prepare your backstage
"smoothie" throughout most of the known world.
Ran out of dimmer channels and left your
LFD
in the hotel room? No
problem! An added special function of the Margarita Mixer is full
0-100% dimming! Flip two switches and remotely set whatever level
is desired.

Overview
|
|
 |
|
Digital
Relay: There's not many out there, and the ones that
do exist are typically custom constructed. With the Electrol
Margarita Mixer, it's an on-the-shelf standard item!
|
Dimmer
On Demand: A door or window backer just got added and
you've already max'd out your dimming system? Flip a switch, and
you've got a new dimmer channel!
|
|

|
|
Remote
Controllable: Most mechanical relays are out dated
analogue devices, or require specialty wiring. The Margarita Mixer
is controlled by industry standard DMX512, readily available from
a console near you!
|
Versatile:
The Margarita Mixer drives devices that would destroy a dimmer
channel and more! Fans and fluorescents, for example, could even
cause a safety risk due to overheating and fire! Not so here,
though. Our precision engineering gives you a device *designed*
for these very instances and applications.
